THE SCOPE OF LEGAL REGULATION OF FREE LEGAL SUPPORT

Abstract
Everyone shall be guaranteed legal assistance in the field of legal support, which follows directly from the statutory regulations. This publication presents an implementation of the scope of the new Act of 5th August 2015 for free legal support and legal education – a regulation on the provision of free legal assistance in pre-court matters, which is undoubtedly a novelty in the Polish law. The aim of this publication is first to present the subjective scope of the Act and, therefore, to discuss the types of cases that fall within the concept of free legal support, as well as a closed list of matters that do not fall within its scope. Moving on to the presentation of the subjective scope of the Act, the group of entities both entitled to obtain free legal assistance, as well as a number of entities authorized to provide it has been defined. Apart from the objective and subjective criteria of free legal support mentioned above, its component stands for the rules for its providing and the way of performing by the county the task which is associated with such assistance, what is of interest in the rest of the publication.<br/><br/>
