THE SITUATION OF SUCCESS AS AN IMPLEMENTER OF EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES IN HIGHER EDUCATION

Abstract

The article examines the situation of success as a means of up-bringing the positive qualities of a person, increasing the motivation and self-development of a student in a higher educational institution. The thorough analysis of this concept makes it possible to identify such components as success and the conditions for creating a sense of satisfaction from the obtained results, capacities and the sense of pride for the results of one’s own actions for people who receive higher education. The study of such concepts as success and achievement, which form the basis of the situation of success, allows us to consider them as synonymous and to explore them in a pedagogical and socio-psychological context. Academic achievement is a component of the success of higher education, but it is not the only goal of higher education. The importance of success for the student in achieving the goal of future career is considered. The role of the teacher in creating favorable conditions for the student is stated. The article describes the ways of creating a situation of success in the classroom, provides a strategy that helps the teacher to stimulate the student for development and increases the motivation for learning. A promising area of work is the study of the issue of creating a situation of success, taking into account the educational opportunities of individual academic disciplines of higher educational institutions.
