THE STUDENT’S KNOWLEDGE AUTOMATED CONTROL SYSTEM ON PRACTICE OF THEORETICAL DISCIPLINES

Abstract

The application system intended for the students knowledge automated control at realization of practical trainings on theoretical disciplines is described. Processes of control tasks preparation by the teacher and realizations of the students knowledge automated control are considered. Advantages of the proposed approach are:  For each student a unique (individual) version of the test-card is generated.  By comparison with the patterns of correct answers, the correctness of student answers is checked. This does not take much time from the teacher.  The computer is used only during the test preparation phase. The application system allows using available means of computer facilities more effectively. Preparation and maintenance of the test questions open software and data formats used. Test-cards generation algorithm is based on the use of XML parsers with open source code. The application system does not demand special skills from the teacher.
