The study of the adoption of quality management in schools

Abstract

This paper reflects results of research about if school managers reception total quality management approach in their schools. In response to the question Deming fourteen principles about total quality management set as base to answer to the above question. In order to understand which of this fourteen principles get more acceptances we try to produce more than one question about each principle. This study is based on an original hypothesis and fifteen sub hypothesis that all reflects on questionnaire, 65 questions are formed structure of questionnaire. from this 65 questions 3questions to assess the impact of education ,gender and work experience on acceptance of total quality management approach by school managers. Statistical society included 8651 school principal of Khuzestan province. And the sample was 368 persons that questionnaire distribution among theme and 342 complete questionnaires retuned to us. The results show that contrary to rumors administrators' acceptance TQM in their schools and 95 percent of respondents believes with TQM approach can improving education process. In reviewing each and every one of fourteen Deming principles about TQM we find that all its acceptance by respondents. In other words did not find neither positive nor negative influence. We did not find any influence of gender, work experience and education on acceptance TQM approach by respondents. At the end of article we providing recommendations based on the result of the research and feedbacks that gathered from respondents.
