A Glance at the History of Nuclear Power Plants

Abstract
Nuclear power plant is the station and industrial plant, which produces electricity based on nuclear technology and the heat produced by fission of the atom. The extensive and detailed history of formation, ways of development and the share of NPP s in the energy produced in different countries are described in the given article. The author lists the advantages and disadvantages of NPP s, explains their ecological risk. The usefulness of NPP s, the risk of environmental disaster and catastrophe that have already occurred are shown in the examples and evidences, the controversial topic of NPP use is pushed forward.
