The study of using fogging system to increase Qom Gas power plant efficiency
Journal Title: Journal of Science and today’s world - Year 2014, Vol 3, Issue 5
Abstract
Gas turbines are considered to be one of the most important energy generator machines. With this in mind, there has always been efforts in order to increase their efficiency. One of the most important approaches to increase power and efficiency of gas turbines is cooling the input air to the compressor. So far, various approaches for decreasing the temperature of the input air has been suggested. One of these approaches is using the fogging system. In this paper, it is attempted to do all the calculations in an indeal and isolated condition, and all of the down falls have been neglected. It should be noted that all of the studies, simulation, and criterias are proportional to the Gas power station of Qom.
