Abstract
The main goal of any financial institution, especially banks, is to attract customers and consequently attracting resources at the community level and investing in different sectors of the economy. The present study was conducted to develop a SWOT matrix for Bank Mellat's POS devices through two questionnaires. The first questionnaire, which was developed in the framework of the BSC model, was used to provide strengths and weaknesses for these Bank Mellat's POS devices. In order to determine the opportunities and threats that the organization faces it, the second questionnaire was used to identify the threats using the FMEA method (failure mode and effects analysis), and the SMEA model (success mode and effects analysis) was used to identify external opportunities. The results showed that Bank Mellat's POS devices have more strengths to take advantage of external opportunities and to mitigate threats in customer and financial factors, and the most weaknesses of Bank Mellat's POS devices are in terms of growth, learning and internal process. Based on the results, in addition to strengthening the activities of the Bank Mellat in Fars province, each of the combined strategies are presented.
