In “Son Mektuplar”, İzzet Ulvi deals with national consciousness in forming a rooted Turkish family and utters this opinion in fictional plan through his main heroine Fikriye. Furnishing his artistic heroine, Hazin with Turkism consciousness in the end of the novel , he aims a global revival at humanitarian collectives. Ahmet Hikmet Müftüoğlu gives a duty to the heroine Gönül Hanım, that is the same with the name of the novel, to search for the Orhun Epitaphs that belong to old Turkish culture .
