The use of special knowledge in the investigation of crime against power and personality

Abstract
The article is devoted to these of special knowledge during pre-trial investigation ninth investigation of criminal offenses against the will, honor and dignity of the individual. The article analyzes the main types of forensic examinations, which a reappointed by investigators on the facts of substitution of a child, illegal deprivation of liberty or theft of a person, then law outplacement of a personal a psychiatric in situation, and the seizure of hostages. The method of investigation on the specified facts provides for conducting investigative actions: interrogations, reproductions, surveys, reviews, appointment and conducting forensic examinations. The range of forensic examinations, which should be appointed for collecting evidence and establishing objective truth on the investigated. The author high lighted the main problems associated with the investigation of such facts: insufficient scientific development of investigation methods, lack of clear legislative consolidation of a number of is sues that occur in the proceedings of the investigator and expert. Insufficient methodological development is associated with the low prevalence of such a category of crimes. In comparison with the first and injuries, hostage taking and substitution of a child acquire a social resonance, as they entail grave consequences, violate public confidence. Also, according to the author, the improvement of not only the professional level of investigators and forensic experts, but also their interaction needs to be improved. For example, the presence of a psychologist during inters rogations required in cases when the defendant tries to confuse the investigator or does not want to contact him. The article also drew attention to the time lines sand quality of the extracted material, on which the effectiveness of conducting expert research. Special attention of the author is concentrated on the characteristics of research DNA analysis, expert research using computer polygraph, forensic psychological examination, and forensic psychiatric examination. The article out lines the possibilities of expert studies the tare the subject of each of them, the subject of expertise, which material provided by the pre-trial investigation authorities to the expert institutions, which features of conducting the said examinations. The author lists the main complex examinations most of ten appointed during the pre-trial investigation. Each complex examination has a brief description.
