THE USE OF THEORETICAL AND EXPERIMENTAL METHODS IN THE METHODOLOGY OF TEACHING PHYSICS TO STUDENTS OF PEDAGOGICAL SPECIALTIES

Abstract

The expediency of using the synthesis of theoretical and experimental methods of physical phenomena cognition in the physics teaching techniques is analyzed in the article. The solution of the problem of fi nding maximum effective power in the circle of direct current is made an example of the possibility of using both methods both teaching physics at school and training of future physics teachers. The methodological foundation is the scientifi c approach: research designing, application of the Ohm law for a complete circle, selection of devices and materials, installation of the scheme, measurements, calculation of useful capacity, and presentation of results in the graphical form. The topic of the problem is chosen to illustrate the connections between physics, chemistry, and mathematics. The connection of various types of energy is stress, particularly the transition of chemical energy into electric one. The offered method of using theoretical and experimental approaches to te aching the same phenomenon on different levels in both cases promotes better cognition of program material, development of the experimental competence of the teacher, increases the level of personal knowledge of students and pupils
