THE VALUE OF THE RULE OF LAW IN THE MODERN DEMOCRATIC SOCIETY

Abstract
The article discovers the importance of the rule of law for a modern democratic society in Ukraine. There were defined main features of formation of the rule of law and the role of rule of law in the history of global civilization. The possibility of co-existence of the rule of law and the «rule of legislative acts» is another problem been discovered in the article.
