Theoretical and Methodical Features of the Use of Modern Information Technologies in Teaching of Theoretical Physics

Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of improving the efficiency of the theoretical physics course educational process in training of prospective teachers of physics on the basis of systematic use of new information technologies. The author analyzed the psychological and pedagogical, scientific and methodical literature and clarified the level of development of these multifaceted issues in the modern theory and methodology of teaching physics. He determined its methodological status, characterized contradictions and its role in theoretical physics course, which completes the basic training of prospective teachers of physics in teacher training University. You can find the definition of the main term of the research and read about the main areas of using of modern information technologies in teaching of theoretical physics. The main part of the article is devoted to the description of the experience of creation and system use of uniquely designed computer oriented didactic tools in teaching of the course of thermodynamics and statistical physics: a software package for modeling physical phenomena and processes based on Mathcad, a set of presentation of lectures materials with multimedia support, pedagogical software tools for test control of students knowledge. The presented material is a generalization of the author's own teaching experience in teaching thermodynamics and statistical physics. It helps to increase the informative interest of students, develop their intellectual and creative abilities and quality of their professional (fundamental) training.
