THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL ASPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF BANKS’ CREDIT POLICY

Abstract
The article deals with the actual issues of development and implementation of the credit policy of commercial banks. The theoretical aspects of the credit policy concept are reviewed. The role of credit policy in ensuring stable and profitable activity of the bank is analyzed. The purposes and tasks of introduction of credit policy are presented and considerable attention is paid to consideration of its types. The importance of conducting monitoring studies of credit policy is emphasized. The main directions of improvement of banks’ credit policy are offered.
