Theoretical aspects of efficiency – the concept and methods of measurement

Abstract
This article is an attempt to present the theoretical aspects of efficiency. It perform review of definition of efficiency in the light of achievements of the economic theory and the management. The article also describes indicator, parametric and non-parametric methods of efficiency measurement.
