THEORETICAL ASPECTS OF THE EVALUATION SYSTEMS OF THE FORMATION LEVEL OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES FOR STUDENTS OF TECHNICAL UNIVERSITIES

Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the process of forming professional competencies for students of technical universities. It is proved expediency of using the competence approach in vocational training for students of technical universities. The theoretical aspects of the evaluation systems of the formation level of the of professional competencies are analyzed. Approaches to the interpretation of the concepts "competence" and "competency", to the characterization of levels of their formation and criteria of definition in scientific and pedagogical literature are considered. The main qualities and criteria of technological process in the university education were distinctly characterized in the article.
