Theoretical aspects of the research regional development

Abstract
This article is about an evolution of theoretical concepts of regional development as a separate subject of study, which was formed as a result of economic, social and political sciences development and now is a separate field of research, based on a multidisciplinary approach to the study of regional development in all its manifestations. The conceptual basis of the regional development is a concept of sustainable development.
