THEORETICAL FOUNDATIONS OF GOVERNMENT MANAGEMENT IN THE SPHERE OF HEALTH

Abstract
The article explores the theoretical and methodological foundations of public administration in the health sector. The content of the main categories that are defining for this sphere is disclosed: «health», «health system», «health care», «public health», «health care legislation», «health care», «public health policy», Conclusions are drawn about the relationship and correlation of these concepts. The author comes to the conclusion that the theoretical basis for building public administration in the healthcare sphere is primarily due to the type of state-social relations and social structure that determine the degree of society’s responsibility in solving public health problems. Also, the author draws attention to the existence of numerous crisis phenomena in the health sector in Ukraine and the need to overcome them.
