Theoretical foundations of road-building concrete science: electromagnetic version
Journal Title: Вісник Одеської державної академії будівництва та архітектури - Year 2017, Vol 1, Issue 69
Abstract
Road concrete is an artificial stone from the atoms chemically related to each other. The choice of feedstock and additions-fillers with necessary atoms will provide the special properties of road concrete. Any atom is characterized by the electric charge. A charge generates the electromagnetic field. The higher is the size of the charge, the stronger and more extensive is the magnetic field, the larger is the radius of excitation of nearby charges in it, more atoms interact with each other in time unit and the higher is the speed of hardening of the mixture. The force of chemical connections of atoms is practically unchanged and does not grow in time. It is determined that the speed of hardening of the mixture is provided by the size of the charge and amount of chemical connections of atoms and new formations in time unit. The latter form the density of stone (kg/m3), strength of concrete (МПа) corresponds to it. Obtaining concrete grade in the set term (in 1or 28 days) is determined by the size of the charge of atoms (ions) → speed of their synthesis → amount of connections of atoms → density of new formations → strength of concrete.

Numerical modeling of cyclic temperature operating condition on SP «Lira-Sapr»
The study of the stress-strain state caused by forced temperature deformations requires to take into account the changes of the physical and mechanical properties of concrete in time, as well as its creep. There are two...
Usage pattern of complex additives based on polycarboxylates in road concrete technology
Cement concrete for roads with a hard coating using the complex admixture on the base of polycarboxylates was developed. It is shown that the composition using and air-entraining cement concrete superplasticizer admixtur...

The search for effective solutions to improve seismic resistance of long masonry buildings with application of existing methods
Over the 9 month of 2016, there have been three strong earthquakes in the world. The growth trend of seismic activity remains, that’s why, the problem of buildings seismic resistance improvement, is very important. The t...
Improving the design and calculation methods of precast-monolithic anti-seismic belt of buildings
The article is devoted to seismic resistance of buildings with new precast-monolithic belts. They, unlike monolithic ones, are performed in one cycle together with the laying of floors, without formwork and without inter...
