THERMAL CHARACTERIZATION OF SEMICONDUCTOR BI2TE3
MATERIALS USING DSC
Journal Title: Journal of Science And Arts - Year 2010, Vol 12, Issue 1
Abstract
The behavior upon heating (30 – 650 o C) and subsequent cooling (to room temperature) has been studied for both n and p type semiconductors based on Bi2Te3 alloys. The elemental composition of the studied alloys has been established by EDXRF analysis. The materials are used in manufacture of thermoelectric generators and coolers.

STUDY TROUGH METALLOGRAPHICAL METHOD AND X-RAY FLUORESCENCE
TECHNIQUE, ON THE SOME ROMAN BROOCHES DISCOVERED AT TOMIS-CONSTANTA
XRF method was used at the same time with a metallographic study in order to determine the concentration of the main compounds of raw materials and, in the same time, of the alloy types used in the ancient period. I...
A NON-DESTRUCTIVE METHOD FOR MEASUREMENT OF MOISTURE IN BUILDING MATERIALS
The measurement of moisture in porous building materials is an important issue in many situations. Especially in the case of the restoration of historical monuments, it is desirable to use non-destructive methods that ca...
ANTIODIDANT AND RADIOPROTECTIVE FEATURES OF ROSEMARY (ROSMARINUS OFFICINALIS) EXTRACTS
Numerous studies have examined the radioprotective effects of antioxidant compounds, generally known like free radical scavengers, which protect cells from free radical damage. Various plant extracts have been investigat...
