Tipos de leitor e modos de ler no século XXI

Abstract
Este artigo tem por objetivo caracterizar algumas das maneiras de ler na sociedade, o que implica procurar entender como se dá o encontro entre o leitor e o texto. Ler não é só a compreensão do objeto lido. Ler é uma prática encarnada por gestos, espaços e hábitos. O mundo do leitor e o mundo do texto são constituídos por um conjunto de competências, usos, códigos, interesses que se sustentam e estabelecem leis que organizam e constrangem a produção do sentido. Por isso importa distinguir as comunidades de leitores, as tradições de leitura, as maneiras de ler. Desta forma, será dada neste estudo atenção á sociedade do século XX e aos atuais hábitos, formas, escolhas e modos de ler.
