To problem of historical and generational localization text-musical form

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the text-musical form as a phenomenon, which is realized in concrete incarnations, but has common, clearly defined and stable features. That is, the main point of view – the theoretical: the identification of the principles, patterns of formation in music with the text; the features of the structure (“how the form is organized”) and the search for those reasons that determined this structure (“why it is so arranged”). Music and the word is truly inexhaustible area for learning; she has long attracted the attention of researchers (in essence, since there is just art). But within it and in the future, new regularities will appear, as well as the next contradictory facts that require explanation. This applies, of course, to the textual and musical form: this phenomenon has a huge historical space, is realized in many specific artistic patterns, and its study has very wide prospects. The article assumes an indispensable appeal to samples of music, and a close attention to the historical and genre context. According to common definitions, text and music forms are a form in which the leading role belongs to the verbal text. But what exactly does the “leading role of the text” mean? What is its value, its privileges over the musical component? Similar issues also require close attention. The article deals with various aspects of the interaction of music and text; the factors regulating the process of this interaction are revealed and described. If the text is given a priority role, how does it affect the music series, what specific mechanisms of its influence? On the other hand, which «relevant impulses» can come from music, can they somehow influence the text?
