TO THE QUESTION OF INNOVATION PROCESS ESSENCE

Abstract
In the article the theoretical basis for understanding of the essence of innovation process in the context of its implementation at the enterprise is deepened. During the study of Ukrainian and foreign scientists’ works it was revealed that they have separate views on innovation process determining, which at the same time contain important elements of this phenomenon, but do not take into account its certain aspects simultaneously. The scientific literature analysis, the appeal to philosophical interpretation of the categories "innovation" and "process" allowed us to formulate our own definition of the innovation process at the enterprise. It takes into account the relation of this concept to the economic activities of the company, and determination that its end result is creation of innovative products makes it possible to identify it as one of the business processes in enterprise.
