TOLERANCE AS THE VALUE OF LAW IN THE MODERNITY

Abstract
The article is concerned with problems of legal axiology. Particular attention paid to tolerance as a legal value. In the proposed article various approaches to the definition and content of the concept of “tolerance’’ are analyzed, features of tolerance as a value of modern society and as a legal value are revealed. The urgency of this problem for the national philosophy of law is substantiated through the analysis of the current socio-cultural situation and the real transformational processes taking place in Ukraine on its way to the formation of civil society and the desire to become an integral part of the European cultural space.
