Tolerance in the activity of police of Ukraine.

Abstract
The article is concerned with tolerance as a social value in the sphere of police activity of Ukraine. The development is shown in historical process of understanding the value of tolerance, from the instrumental importance to the sense of morality, and the establishment of ideology of tolerance in the modern society. The urgency of this research is preconditioned with difficulties and contra- dictions of the modern society and that makes us searching for new theoretical and practical methods to achieve stability and sustainability in the political and social relationships. Today the tolerance is one of the main principles of police activity, which is directed at defense of the rights and freedoms of person and citizen.
