Abstract
Based on the centrality of work category, this text, which represents a character study of conceptual and theoretical, exploring the limits of the understanding that education is necessarily emancipatory activity. Without any pretension of exhausting the subject, and, within an article, to perform this study I have relied on considerations of the classical authors of Marxist theory, dealing each with some difference in terminology, the issue of education and its relationship with the process of human emancipation, equality or inequality. This study results in understanding that if the media can not thwart the purposes, only from the wider emancipatory purposes is that education can also become an emancipatory activity, and it is only possible conflict with the capitalist society, which uses of schooling and education in general to internalize values corresponding to an alienated consciousness.
