Traditions of Azerbaijanian Higher Education in the Context of European Educational Space Integration

Abstract

In the article the prospects of Azerbaijani higher education system joining the European educational space are analyzed, importance of preservation and reconsideration of cultural traditions of Azerbaijani education, ensuring synthesis of old and new on the basis of preservation of continuity as conditions of improvement of educational system are analyzed. It is important to realize participation of Azerbaijan in the processes of European educational integration by means of the dialectic principle: old new to carry out denial not through its destruction, and on the basis of preservation of continuity. Observance in the organizations of educational process of systematic, deep studying of such sciences as philosophy, the cultural science, the organization of special courses for history and the theory of culture, transformation of social sciences into originally humanities, inclusion in training programs of the new disciplines which are intermediate between technical and the humanities (first of all, such as synergetic, prognostics, global studies, engineering psychology, professional ethics, etc.), have to become the base of continuous self-development, incentive for self-realization in society not only at the level of career, but also concerning conscious political and social positions. It also is a condition of creation of the civil society, formation of democratic institutes in society. Arts education as basis that is development of the personality and development of democratic society thereby is inseparably linked with each other.
