TRANSFORMATION OF INNOVATIVE AND METHODICAL ACTIVITY LIBRARY OF THE UNIVERSITY

Abstract
The purpose of our article is the analysis of innovative and methodical activity of university libraries which develop as information centers today. The subject of research is methodical, publishing and innovative activity of Scientific Library of the Kiev national university of culture and arts. We observe process of introduction of technological innovations in library service that allows improving quality of the services provided to the reader by library. New actual projects are developed, cultural and educational and information services extend, work methods improve. Also, the structure of library is improved – there are new sectors. The main finding of the work consists in systematization of various aspects and the directions of innovative activity of library. The research findings have the practical value for library workers, teachers of university, students, library users, and also for anyone who is interested in library science.
