TREND AND FACTOR ANALYSIS OF DEMAND FOR CARS IN UKRAINE

Abstract
A brief description of the state of Ukrainian market of passenger cars is presented. The trend models of sells the most popular cars are built. A power-law regression model of monthly demand for cars in Ukraine as a whole is proposed. Forecasts for sales of individual brands and vehicles in general in the country are built. In order to take into account seasonality in forecasting demand the method of seasonal decomposition is used.
