Triazolinediones applications and recent advances in click chemistry
Journal Title: Asian Journal of Green Chemistry - Year 2019, Vol 3, Issue 2
Abstract
Triazolinediones (TADs) are unique reagents in organic synthesis that have also found wide applications in different research disciplines. This work focuses on the recently emerging applications of the triazolinediones chemistry. TAD groups can be reliably clicked onto a range of olefinic reaction partners (Enes and dienes). Recent advances in TAD chemistry includes its roles in bioconjugation of peptides and proteins, derivitization of low-abundant lipid metabolites in biological sample, modular chemical library synthesis, clicking and unclicking protecting groups in organic synthesis, functionalization, and cross-linking of natural plant oils and polymer science.

Tribromo melamine (TBM) as an efficient and inexpensive catalyst for the one-pot synthesis of benzimidazoles and benzoxazole derivatives
In this work, a simple and facile method for the preparation of tribromo melamine (TBM or melamine‐Br3) as an environmentally friendly homogeneous catalyst is described as it is used for the one-pot synthesis of benzimid...
Removal of ammonium ions from aqueous solution using hydroxy-sodalite zeolite
In this research study, the removal of ammonium ions from aqueous solution by hydroxy-sodalite (HS) was evaluated. The effects of the contact time, pH, initial concentration, adsorbent dose, and the presence of other com...
Synthesized nanoparticles of poly (Styrene–alternative-maleic anhydride) and prunus cerasus rock used for removing Cadmium (II) ions from aqueous solutions
Chelating adsorbents have been considered to be suitable materials for the recovery of cadmium in water treatments. Adsorption of Cadmium (II) ions on melamine-butanedioic acid, modified poly (Styrene-alternative-maleic...
Benign synthesis of 5-substituted 1H-tetrazoles via [3+2] cycloaddition of nitriles and sodium azide employing SO3H-carbon as an efficient heterogeneous catalyst
A novel and green methodology was developed for the synthesis of 5-substituted 1H-tetrazoles by [3+2] cycloaddition of nitriles with sodium azide in DMF at 100 °C in the presence of highly stable, water resistant and rec...
Synthesis of N-formyl morpholine as green solvent in the synthesis of organic compounds
Formamides, an important class of the amine derivatives, have widely used in the synthesis of the pharmaceutically valuable compounds. The N-formylmorpholine is chemically stable, non-toxic, and non-corrosive, due to its...
