TRIBOLOGICAL TESTS OF SPINAL IMPLANTS AND EVALUATION OF THE SUPERFICIAL WEAR

Journal Title: Tribologia - Year 2012, Vol 244, Issue 4

Abstract

The article presents a simulator for testing spinal implants SBT-03 of our own design. Used to estimate the intensity of different types of intervertebral disc implants, the selection of optimal combinations of materials and methods for surface treatment of intervertebral disc implants. The tested implants made of stainless 316, CoCrMo alloy, titanium alloy Ti6Al4Vand polyethylene liner.
