Türkçe Dersi Öğretim Programında Bir Alt-Alan Olarak ‘Estetik’ ve ‘Estetik Eğitimi’

Abstract
One of the basic pillars of the philosophy underlying the 2017 Turkish Courses Curriculum is ‘aesthetics’ and ‘aesthetics education'. The 2017 Turkish Courses Curriculum embraces ‘aesthetics’, ‘aesthetics education’ as a sub-field of Turkish education. The Curriculum introduces the development of the students’ aesthetic sensibilities through ‘aesthetic experiences’ as one of the main purposes, besides the development of the language and communication skills and socialization of the students, strengthening their sense of belonging through national, spiritual and cultural values in Turkish education. The content, elements and aims of 'aesthetic education' are articulated and the aesthetic experience processes, actions and achievements of the students as ‘aesthetic subject’ are also defined in the 2017 Turkish Curriculum. In the Curriculum within the scope of ‘aesthetics’ and ‘aesthetics education’, concepts such as aesthetic sensibility, aesthetic experience, aesthetic liking, aesthetic judgment, aesthetic value, beautiful, good, correct, aesthetic point of view, aesthetic pleasure, and aesthetic understanding are mentioned. Thus, the elements of 'aesthetic education' in relation to each other are presented for consideration. In this context, in our study, the definition of ‘aesthetics’ and the components and main aims of the ‘aesthetics education’ are emphasized in the theoretical framework. 2017 Turkish Courses Curriculum is examined in terms of ‘aesthetics’ and ‘aesthetics education’ and it is dealt with how and why ‘aesthetics education’ takes part in the Curriculum. The philosophical content of ‘aesthetics’ and ‘aesthetic education’ situated in Curriculum is evaluated and, the concepts forming the content of ‘aesthetic education’ as a sub-field of Turkish education are put introduced. Thus, it is pointed out that ‘aesthetics education’ is situated as a sub-field of Turkish education in the 2017 Turkish Courses Curriculum.
