Typological principles of classification of neologisms in modern English language

Abstract
The article is devoted to the central notion of neologу – neologism, in particular the problem of the typology of neologisms in contemporary English. The article looks into the basic typological principles of classification of these lexical units. It is defined that on its basis there can be various characteristics, both traditional and those, inherent only to these linguistic units. The characteristic features of each of the selected groups are defined.
