Uczniowie białostockich szkół w walce z rusyfikacją (1807–1915)

Abstract
The aim of article is show school forms of the fight against the russification in Bialystok (1807 – 1915). The russification in Bialystok had a peculiar, because situation geopolitical, social and economic they were different than on other Polish land under the Russian annexed territory. There weren’t any Polish schools, but only two Russian schools. Secondary school for boy and Institute of Young Girls from the Gentries (Polish name: Instytut Panien Szlacheckich) were schools where Tsarism led strong politics of the russification to the Polish of pupils. However in spite of the policy aiming at the unification of Bialystok from the Russian Empire pupils never lost the Polish spirit and remained faithful for national tradition and values. They participated in national fights, conducted the clandestine teaching, promoted the Polish culture amongst the social lowest layers of inhabitants of Bialystok.
