UKRAINE'S PLACE IN THE GLOBAL ECONOMIC RANKINGS

Abstract
The article deals with Ukraine's place in the global economic rankings. Studied the global competitiveness index in recent years and the position of Ukraine. The factors of ease of doing business in the country. Followed trends in the index of economic freedom. Analyzed the position of Ukraine in the index of investment attractiveness. Identified macroeconomic and institutional factors increasing Ukraine's competitiveness on the global stage. It is found that reducing the country's position in international rankings due to the unstable political, economic and social situation. It is proved that the search for ways to improve the country's competitive position in the world economy is one of the most important tasks of the Ukrainian government.
