UKRAINIAN PARLIAMENTARY EXPERIENCE IN LEGISLATIVE BODIES OF THE HABSBURG MONARCHY (1848–1918)

Abstract
In the given article the author describe parliamentary activity Ukrainian deputies in legislative bodies of the Habsburg monarchy in the 1848-1918. The author also substantiates the continuity of existence of Ukrainian parliamentarism by some elements of Ukrainian social and political movement in Austria and Austria-Hungary: political parties, participation of Ukrainian population in election campaigns, direct the activities of Ukrainian deputies in the Parliament and outside and etc. Founded that the strategic purpose of Ukrainian deputies in the Austrian parliament was to create an autonomous Ukrainian (Ruthenian) unit in Austria-Hungary.
