Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of the importance of the universal declaration of human rights for the international community, the aspects of its legalization, the activities of the Universal Periodic Review as a mechanism for the protection of human rights and freedoms, the practical implementation of the provisions and the problem of the legalization of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in Ukraine.
