UKRAINIAN WORD DERIVATION’S MODERN DEVELOPMENT TENDENCIES

Abstract
Тhe article is devoted of the question of studying the modern trends development of the Ukrainian language in derivation. The author proves of this problem being adequate, actual and perspective. The trends development in derivation of different years outlined and defineed in works by I. I. Kovalyk, V. O. Horpynich, T. A. Kosmeda, T. A. Kots, A. M. Neluba, I. D. Farion. The purpose of our research is to study modern trends development of the Ukrainian language in derivation. The object of the research is proper functioning derivation of the Ukrainian language. The subject of our research is modern trends development in derivation. To teach the aim we should solve such problems: outline definitive the modern trends development of the Ukrainian language in derivation; to study characteristic of this trends development and what causes their formation. Metodology. The descriptive method, continuous sampling method, the method of morphemic and derivational analysis are used. Results. The main modern trends development of the Ukrainian language in derivation states: the ways of word building such as lexical semantic, stem, composition, abbreviation, univerbation and other are active formative. The brevity is important characteristic for the Ukrainian word-formation.
