Undescended testis as a huge abdomen mass

Abstract

Cryptorchidism is a risk factor for malignant transformation.majority of undescended testis locates distal to the external inguinal ring and are palpable. seminomas are common carcinoma of testicles occurring in fourth decade of life and about 60-65% of germ cell neoplasms which are classified histologically into 3 types –Classical, Anaplastic and Spermatocytic. I report a patient with seminoma arising in an undescended testis which presented as palpable mass of left iliac fossa. Discussing the etiology and initial evaluation clinically, radiologically, tumor markers and then surgical intervention followed by adjuvant therapy.
