Journal Title: Духовність особистості: методологія, теорія і практика - Year 2018, Vol 1, Issue 82
Abstract
The article analyzes the tendencies of informatization of education in the Kingdom of Norway as regularities of its modernization in the period of globalization and information revolution. It is determined that informatization of education is one of the most important components of the Norwegian program for the development of the information society. Creating an educational system that combines higher academic standards and reaches the largest part of the population is a prerequisite for increasing productivity and for ensuring the well-being of the Norwegian society. Higher education in the information society is, first and foremost, an information exchange environment. Consequently, such an exchange assumes not only the assimilation, but also the transfer and generation of new information in exchange for the received, and, most importantly, the production of knowledge. The Norwegian higher education system is being reformed in line with the Bologna Process. It is ahead of a number of developed European countries on the level of education development. Norwegian teachers and sociologists have followed the two main reasons that led to reform processes in the education system. The first of these is that the educational system of the country generally assumes a major role in the upbringing of the young generation, the second reason – due to the higher social and technological level of development of Norwegian society, the need for highly educated specialists has increased. To solve these problems, rapid reforms were carried out in accordance with the requirements of the time. The rational use of the experience of Norwegian educators in informatization of education will contribute to the democratization of the domestic educational system, especially its humanization and the successful entry into the European space. For Ukraine, it is useful and interesting to know the experience of the countries that are leaders in the implementation of information and communication technologies, and who started this way, having adopted in the early 1990's its own programs for the formation of the information society.
