UNKNOWN CHAPTERS OF THE CREATIVE LIFE OF CONDUCTOR NATAN HERMELIN

Abstract
This article is dedicated to the creative life of a famous Lviv conductor Natan Hermelin. Foundations of worldview formation are analyzed. Ways of development of the musician’s creative personality are studied. Priorities and landmarks of activity are outlined. Artistic initiatives are discovered and characteristics of the conducting approach are given. Maestro’s achievements in the performing art domain are highlighted. The role of N. Hermelin in raising the cultural level of the Jewish community of Lviv is summarized.
