Abstract
Vereshchagina G.V., Pliekhanova T.Ye. Innovative development management of startups with the purpose to reduce the venture investment risks. In the modern dynamic market conditions the innovative activity is one of the most important factors, which help to the enterprise to increase the competitiveness level of goods, to develop steadily and to operate in the market. During the innovation development planning enterprises interfere with the various types of risks due to the financial costs on measures execution, the temporary rupture between the innovations introduction and the useful result obtaining, as well as the possible charges on innovations establishment. Practice of the most innovative and active countries of the world convincingly testifies that the small business is the driving force of the innovative enterprise. Therefore, in modern conditions of economic development, the most urgent question is the creation of projects and business ideas not by professionals, but by the most inspired and purposeful innovators who aspire to realize their potential. The purpose of this article is the methodical approach elaboration concerning the innovative development management of startups in order to reduce the venture capital investment risks. The subject of the study is a set of theoretical, practical and methodological aspects of start-ups development, namely, the innovative development management of startups in order to reduce the risks of venture capital investment. Methodological basis of the article is a set of methods of scientific research, namely logical-theoretical, generalization and synthesis, systemic and structural, and others. Research results. During the study, it has been analyzed by the authors concept of "startup", it has been considered characteristics of startup and sources of their funding. It has been analyzed the existing models of product development and customer development of startups, as well as their main stages, and it has been proposed the methodical approach concerning the innovation development management of startups in order to reduce the risks of venture capital investment, based on the existing improved model of Customer Development; which in contrast with the others is based on two previous steps (perhaps cyclical): hypothesis about the product (service) and interview with the potential clients; and it allows to increase the probability of the effective activity of both existing start-ups and newly created .. The results of the study can be used in the process of innovative development management practice improving of startups in order to reduce the risks of venture capital investment.
