Uprawnienia pielęgniarek do samodzielnego podejmowania działań w nagłych stanach padaczkowych

Abstract
Contemporary nursing trends result in the development within the scope of competence in an independent nursing practice, aiming at multifaceted perception of a patient and their problems. Sudden status epilepticus is one of the situations that require immediate emergency procedure. A nurse, acting alone in this case, has the knowledge and skills necessary to provide aid. The primary drug available in Poland for treating status epilepticus in both adults and children is diazepam. Then, the patient needs to be looked after with attentive and professional care.
