USAGE OF IT-OUTSOURCING TO ENHANCE OPERATING AND FUNCTIONAL EFFICIENCY OF AN ENTERPRISE

Abstract
This article describes the essence of IT-outsourcing, as well as advantages and disadvantages of its usage. The article analyses market dynamic of IT-outsourcing and discovers the place of Ukrainian market at the global arena. In conclusion, major challenges that hinder the development of IT-outsourcing in Ukraine are described and ways to overcome them are defined. The author investigates the outsourcing of information technology as a method for improving the efficiency of business management in the conditions of the need to gain a competitive advantage. This article describes the essence of IT-outsourcing, as well as advantages and disadvantages of its usage. The author reviews recent research and publications devoted to the study of the concept of outsourcing. The present state of the outsourcing of information (IT) technologies in Ukraine is determined and the dynamics of the IT outsourcing market in Ukraine is analysed.
