USE OF A PROJECT METHOD IN ESP TEACHING FOR FUTURE ENGINEERS

Abstract

The article examines the use of a project method as a pedagogical technology, in ESP classes at a higher school. The specificity of using this method in modern pedagogical science is analyzed. The study also examines the typology of methods and provides a detailed classification of projects. The authors describe the factors that make this method relevant in the modern system of higher education, pay attention to the typology of projects, the peculiarities of project organization and describe the stages of the work on projects. The article also presents the theoretical foundations of this method, examines the advantages of its application and analyzes the significance of this project for the professional training of future engineers.
