USE OF COMPUTER TESTING FOR THE CONTROL OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS’ STUDENTS (USING THE STUDY OF HIGHER MATHEMATICS AS AN EXAMPLE)

Abstract
One of the modern methods of education improvement, enhancement of its quality and accessibility is the use of modern computer technologies in the educational process. The main task of the article has been to analyze the existing scientific experience in this area and give the example of applying computer testing programs using the study of higher mathematics as the example. The analysis of the scientific literature in this field and own teaching experience have made it possible to propose the following requirements for making modern computers tests. Thus, while developing such electronic tests, we took in the account the fact that every test has to cover all basics sections of the subject. The number of variants of the tests should be sufficient - the main condition for such tests is to have a self-analysis system which allows every student to control and correct own mistakes as well as take a similar test with different questions but similar content many times. To create a test program there is a big variety of computer technologies (Master Test, easy Quizzy, My Test, UTC, Test System, and others.). In our case we have used the program Wondershare Quiz Creator because this program has a lot of simple and effective ways to check the acquired knowledge making it a big advantage over other existing programs. In the main part of the article the example of using computer-based testing capabilities on the subject «Derivative, differentiation of functions» has been given. The main text content, compiled methodically correctly, and the capabilities of the corresponding software allowed us to develop and implement into the educational process tests whose use proved to be more efficient for both the teachers and the students.
