Use of Distance Education Technologies as a Method of Improving the Quality of Teaching of Computer Study Disciplines of Foreign Students.

Abstract

The article reveals the importance of use of distance education technologies at the present stage of ICT development in the process of foreign students preparing as future teachers of Computer Study. Place and role of distance education technologies in the system of higher education were defined. Such terms as distance education technologies, support systems of distance education were under analysis; concept of ''electronic education course'' was specified; the main techniques of the use methods of distance education technologies and its components were determined. Different types of support of distance education technologies were studied. Methodical peculiarities of use of means of realization of psychological-and-pedagogical technologies of distance education in the support system of distance education were examined. Different types of additional technologies of distance education were observed. A support system of distance education on Moodle basis of Pavlo Tychyna Uman State Pedagogical University, as well as recommendations for use of distance education technologies while training of foreign students as future teachers of Computer Study was designed in the result of our research. The combination of traditional and distance learning provides the opportunity to take advantage of both forms of learning: improving the quality of education; motivation of students to study; providing effective learning management tools; increase in the number of people who will have access to quality education; establishes a new role as a teacher as a tutor; diversifying the learning process.
