Use of fuel and energy resources as an object of state regulation in modern economic conditions

Abstract
The article analyzes the state of functioning of the sphere of use of fuel and energy resources (here in after − FER), emphasizes the efficiency and the main shortcomings of its state regulation, focuses on problematic issues that exist in this field and those which need to be addressed in the process of its reforming in the conditions of development of market mechanisms, determines the main tasks that need to be achieved with the improvement of the system of state regulation of the domain. The ways of improving the system of state regulation of the domain have been determined and the main indicators of efficiency have been formed, after achievement of which it is possible to create a competitive environment in the field of the use of FER. Proposals on possible directions of further improvement of the domain functioning in the conditions of market relations are worked out, taking into account the need to increase the efficiency of fuel and energy use.
