Use of the program «SPROS» for predicting the demand for energy resources
Journal Title: Проблеми загальної енергетики - Year 2017, Vol 0, Issue 2
Abstract
The paper presents the structure, working principle, and interface of the developed new computer program «SPROS», which enables one, to perform fast calculations of the projected demand for all types of fuel and energy with using the method of complex forecasting for different consumer groups at the selected hierarchical levels of economy structure. The program makes it possible to harmonize the predictions of energy consumption based on the forecasts at TOP- and DOWN-levels made by different methods for different parameters of energy efficiency. Our program takes into account the separately calculated potentials of energy saving caused by structural and technological changes in the economy and enables one to estimate the projected energy demand for different levels of economy structure with a high degree of convergence.

Improving the mechanism of implementation of Directive 2012/27/EU on energy efficiency by adapting international standards on energy management at the national level
The problem of energy conservation is one of the most important in Ukraine. It should be decided in view of the orientation of the country towards European integration, providing for compliance with the requirements of r...
Actual potential of the maneuvering power of the Ukrainian CHP with introduced electrothermal regulators
One of the sharp problems of the United Power System of Ukraine is the shortage of maneuvering power. It is particularly significant during the "night dip" of the electrical load diagram and results in the forced stop of...
Promising measures for the utilization of ash-slag waste of thermal power plant
We have determined the ways of using ash-slag waste of the Ukrainian thermal power plants. The main measures, namely, “dry” methods of separated ash and slag removal, pneumatic ash removal, classification by grain compos...
Determination of the economical efficiency of schemes of thermochemical recuperation for heat engines
On the example of gas-turbine plants, we have considered the principal and constructive schemes of thermochemical recuperation for the utilization of secondary energy resources, namely, the enthalpy of exhaust gases. We...
Analysis of the demand of Ukrainian thermal power plants for steam coal with regard for requirements to fuel quality
The thermal power industry of Ukraine is based on 14 large power plants working on coal. The boilers of seven plants were designed to burn coal of the gas group and the other seven to work on anthracite fuel. The use...
