UTILIZATION OF BASIC NUTRIENTS AND MINERALS BY FATTENERS DEPENDING ON THE TYPE OF PHOSPHATE ADMINISTERED IN COMPLETE FEEDS

Abstract
An influence of mineral phosphorus derived from various feed phosphates on digestibility of basic nutrients, nitrogen retention, apparent absorption and balance of magnesium, manganese, copper and zinc was compared in digestive-balance study on growing fatteners. Mineral phosphorus from a new dicalcium phosphate, monocalcium and calcium-sodium phosphate constituted 30% of total fatteners phosphorus demand. The results obtained prove that digestibility of basic nutrients and nitrogen retention were not dependent on the kind of phosphate used in the complete mixtures. The assessed new dicalcium phosphate, when compared to monocalcium and calcium-sodium phosphate, significantly influenced better utilization of magnesium, copper and manganese from the complete mixtures.
