VALUE ATTITUDE TO HEALTH AS A PEDAGOGICAL CATEGORY

Abstract
In the article is determined the urgency of the problem of formation a value attitude to health in a modern society. The meaning of the concept of «health» is described as a phenomenon that integrates its four components. The essence of the concept of «value» is determined, which is a component of the person's motivational sphere. The meaning of the concept of «attitude» is revealed, which determines the activity and behavior of the personality. The concepts of «attitude to health» and «value attitude to health» are defined, which is characterized by its three components: cognitive, value-motivational, activity-behavioral components. The criteria of components of value attitude towards health are characterized and levels of its formation are determined.
